Appendix A: The Open Manhole
Alleine’s book has been a
long one with many details. Thus the reader may well be left with
uncertainty, but have come under conviction that he or she is not
right with God, and may even be bound for eternal damnation in the
Lake of Fire—and may not be sure what to do about it. This Open
Manhole tract is reproduced below for the benefit of those who
are concerned about their spiritual state, desire to close with
Christ, or wish to review more concisely what it means to close
with Christ.
